Hello Readers!
Michael Faraday would have never imagined the smile that balloons could bring to a child’s face when he first invented a rubber balloon.
The new addition to our Cakeology journal is a balloon cake that I have baked and decorated for a friend’s daughter.
The birthday girl, then, was fascinated by the gas balloons and so the theme ‘Balloon Birthday Party’ was preordained.
The cake base for this Balloon Cake is flavoured with plain vanilla. White fondant has been used to form the shapes along with pink sugar dust.
I had the most fun while decorating this cake with fondant balloons.
